Silk screening in glass offers some very unique opportunities to create unusual and creative work as it offers flexibility to modify the image in different types of glass and textures in a single piece unlike transfers.

We use a ground glasses as our medium. We can mix solids/transparent glass while controlling the density of each area of the image enabling us to use any color background to enhance the full image or to change the original image with enhancements. 

This process also allows us flexibility to create 3D pieces with different textures that transfers don't.

Depending on the piece, it can take up to 8 processes/40+ hours of cooking to complete a piece.
